ERP - Plant Requisitions
Note: The Plant Requisitions process works in the same way as the material requisitions process. However, some of the fields required to be completed are different.
4.0 Select the Plant Requisitions button on the home page

4.1 Make sure the Contract Number in the top right is correct. Remember you can change this by typing in the correct Contract Number and pressing enter. This will bring up previous Plant Requisitions for that contract.

4.2 To add a new Plant Requisition select the next available blank line. Remember, the first two fields will populate. If the Contract Number doesn’t populate then you can manually add it.

4.3 Select a Cost Code relevant for the Plant / Machinery you’re ordering.

Note: You can click the ‘Select from full list’ button to search the full bank of Cost Codes.
4.4 In the description field, type over the pre-populated description with the type of Plant / Machinery you’re requesting.

4.5 Select the Quantity and Unit of Measure. For a Plant order make sure the Unit of Measure is relevant.

4.6 If you have a quote already, enter the supplier number or search by clicking ‘Select from full list’. If you don’t have a quote, then leave this blank and the Buying Department will complete enquires with providers.

Note: Upload a copy of your quote by dragging the file into the Drop Files Here Box. Remember you may need to have the Requisition line selected and press the ‘i’ button to reveal the documents field.

4.7 In the Order Delivery box, select where you want the plant delivered to.

4.8 In the Ship-to Contact field, type in the details of the individual who will receive the order.

4.9 Next complete the On Hire and Expected Off Hire Dates using the calendar function.

4.10 In the Action Message, select New and check the Ready to Order box. This will send a notification to the Buying Department to process your requisition.
