Conquest - Favourites

The favourites window is a separate window to which any of the tools can be included and this can be permanently displayed and auto hidden.

This is particularly useful for accessing other programs and is used to integrate Microsoft Works and Excel with the Enquiries module.

This can also be used to produce a short menu of the functions not readily to hand on a screen, which may be in general tools.

A typical favourite would include “Copy Items” which is located under Tools, Estimating which would be accessed easier on an open window.

To switch on favourites select the layouts button and select favourites.

This will open a favourites window.

To add to this window right click and select Add

From the resulting window select Copy Items from the tree menu by double clicking and the option appears in favourites.

Select OK

Once selected use drag and drop with the mouse to position in the correct order

When all options are selected click OK and then right click in favourites window and select save .

As you will see the Copy Items function is available as a single click and not as a three level drill down tree menu option.

Users may find some tools better in this mode as it is easier to locate and remember where it is.
